Catherine Shaw

Catherine Shaw is an English literature graduate student at the University of Massachusetts Boston, where she also completed her Master of Arts in History in 2015. Catherine is a current member of the Abington, Massachusetts Historical Commission and has been published in the New England Journal of History. In addition to local history, Catherine’s research interests include animal welfare legislative history, literary animal studies, posthumanism, and phenomenology.
